Dan
Droz is CEO of Droz and Associates,
and for the past 22 years, has served as
Adjunct Associate Professor of Design Management
at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). At
CMU, his research has focused on marketing
accountability and outcome-based marketing
methods. He also co-founded the nation's
first multidisciplinary product development
program at the Graduate School of Industrial
Administration (GSIA), and is director of
the Design-For-Business Project. Dan has
also served as consultant or panelist to
a number of government agencies and legislative
bodies, including the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
the United States Information Agency (USIA)
and the National Endowment for the Arts
(NEA). Mr. Droz graduated cum laude from
Harvard University in 1972. In 1996, he
was recognized as one of five outstanding
design alumni of Harvard University at the
25th anniversary of Carpenter Center for
the Visual Arts.
Robert
Handley, Creative Director, has
more than 25 years of agency design and
art direction experience. Prior to joining
Droz and Associates, Rob served as Art Director
for Gateway Studios, the largest advertising
production house in Western Pennsylvania.
Rob has received numerous ADDY, CASE, IABC
and MATRIX awards for excellence in marketing,
design and advertising.
Tara
Taylor, Senior Designer, has
18 years of experience in interactive and
communications design for high-tech and
professional corporations. Tara previously
served as chief graphic designer for the
Engineering Design Research Center (EDRC)
at Carnegie Mellon University and has won
numerous awards for her work.
Mark Miklas, Web Specialist, helps clients show their best face on the World Wide Web. Mark is involved in all aspects of interactive marketing. In addition to the Web, he assists with the design and production of corporate identity and print materials. Mark has been developing Web sites since 1995 and has a strong marketing and production background as well.
Scot Fleming, Creative Director, oversees branding and advertising concepts, public relations programs, strategies and copy for print, web, broadcast, and collateral production. He works closely with the design team and also heads up the development of viral audio/video and podcasting content for e-clients. For the past 15 years, he has worked with most major advertising and PR firms in Pittsburgh as well as many national and regional agencies.
Bethany Ruhe, Director of Public Relations, oversees public and media relations, strategy formulation, and account and project management. Bethany works with clients to maximize media coverage in local, national, and Web mediums, as well as assist them with their collateral needs. Bethany has worked in higher education and corporate real estate. Her work has won several IABC, Apex and Mercury awards.
Robert Zaremberg, Public Relations Specialist, edits and writes copy, pitches stories to the media and monitors media coverage. Robert graduated from The Ohio State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a minor in communications. At Ohio State, Robert wrote for one of the largest campus newspapers in the country, The Lantern. He was also a member of the school's Public Relations Student Society of America and Society of Professional Journalists chapters.
