OohMahNee is an animal sanctuary
dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitative
care of abused, abandoned, or displaced farmed
animals. The sanctuary was founded in 1995
and has grown steadily ever since. OohMahNee
regularly conducts cruelty investigations,
assists law enforcement with abuse and neglect
cases, and initiates rescues. The organization's
efforts and public image were being compromised
by a less than adequate Web site.
Adroit was selected to redesign
the site, create new features and provide
a site that the organization could feel
proud to display to the public. New design
elements were incorporated along with upgraded
technology to make the site more efficient.
New features are under development that
will enable site users to sponsor an animal
at the farm, apply for adoption of an animal,
or send donations.
Adroit accomplished the twofold
objective of redesigning the site's appearance
and improving the underlying technology. Adroit
contributed its services to this effort as
an ongoing commitment to provide pro bono
assistance to worthy causes.
