looked at the impact of the automobile on
the growth of our cities and suburbs. It
compared the growth patterns in cities like
Chicago and Portland, Oregon with those
in Tysons Corner, Virginia and Los Angeles.
It featured commentary by advocates of smart
growth and sustainable development.
