An interactive DVD produced
for Carnegie Mellon University with a grant
from the National Institutes of Health.
This program helps people deal with the
stigma of sexually transmitted disease,
and learn to make the right decisions in
their effort to lead a normal life. The
main body of this program was the recreation
of a support group, with dialogue based
on interviews with real patients. A viewer
of the DVD can search out information on
their particular problem or issue by exploring
the stories of the different people in the
support group. It will eventually be distributed
to STD patients throughout the United States.
